TL;DR:
- What it is: A nourishing hair mask
- What it does: Softens and smooths brittle strands
- Who it’s for: Anyone with dry, damaged, or color-treated hair
I have a confession: I only wash my hair… once a week. It’s not because I’m busy (read: lazy), but more so that I don't think my fine, flat hair needs it. Okay, maybe by day four or five, things start to get a little greasy at the roots, but I digress. That’s what dry shampoo is for.
But when I do end up washing my hair (every Sunday night during my everything shower), I shampoo twice (lather, rinse, repeat) and then, instead of a traditional conditioner, I use a hair mask. Since I’m only conditioning once a week, I want to make the most out of it, you know?
And that’s where the Luseta Biotin & Collagen Hair Mask comes in. Because I have dry, damaged, color-treated hair (hi, blonde highlights), I need something that not only adds moisture back in, but will also strengthen my fragile strands and brittle ends. The argan oil and biotin in the nourishing formula do both, respectively.
When I use it (after two shampoos), I like to rake the thick, pudding-like cream from midlengths to ends. I usually leave it on for about five minutes (no more), or however long it takes to shave my legs. Then I rinse it out, let my hair air-dry to about 70%, and braid it before crawling into bed. Come morning, I wake up to super soft, shiny hair.
